Getting Started with MrCAPI

Welcome aboard! Here is your quick, step-by-step guide to getting your team setup, your workspace tailored, and your pipeline active in under 5 minutes.

Verified for MrCAPI Platform

Welcome to MrCAPI! We designed this platform to take the headache out of lead tracking and revenue operations. Whether you're running a boutique real estate agency, an e-commerce brand, or a high-growth service firm, this guide will walk you through your first 5 minutes in the dashboard.

1. Setting Up Your Company Workspace

When you first sign up, you'll land in your account setup screen. Make sure to complete these core fields:

  • Organization Name: Use your registered company or team name so reps and clients recognize your invitations.
  • Primary Industry: Select your focus area (Real Estate, Healthcare, Education, E-Commerce, etc.). This tunes your default pipeline stages and analytics presets.
  • Workspace Admin: Make sure your primary email address is assigned as the Workspace Admin so you never lose control of billing or team access.

2. Inviting Your Team Members

A CRM is only as strong as the team using it! Head over to Team in your left navigation panel:

  • Click + Invite Team Member.
  • Enter your team member's first name, last name, and work email.
  • Assign their role: Choose ORG_MANAGER for team leads or ORG_AGENT for individual sales reps.

Your team members will receive an instant email invitation to set up their password and log in straight away.

3. Activating & Customizing Your Sales Pipelines

Out of the box, MrCAPI comes with a proven 5-stage sales pipeline:

  1. NEW: Fresh incoming leads awaiting first contact.
  2. CONTACTED: Outreach attempt logged or message sent.
  3. QUALIFIED: Prospect meets budget and buying criteria.
  4. WON: Deal closed successfully!
  5. LOST: Prospect passed or unresponsive.

Want to view and drag leads visually through these stages? Head over to Pipeline in your left navigation panel.

💡 Pro Tip: Don't overcomplicate your initial pipeline stages! Keep it to 5–6 clear milestones so your reps spend less time updating statuses and more time talking to prospects.
