Setting up Meta Conversions API (CAPI)

Bypass ad-blockers and feed offline sales conversion signals back to Facebook Ads to automatically lower your Cost-Per-Acquisition.

Verified for MrCAPI Platform

Browser pixels are no longer enough. Privacy updates and ad-blockers hide up to 30% of your real web conversions. By connecting MrCAPI directly to Meta Conversions API (CAPI), your offline sales status changes (like when a lead becomes QUALIFIED or WON) are fed back to Meta in real time—helping Meta's algorithm find higher-quality buyers for your ads.

1. Generating Your Meta Access Token

  1. Open your Meta Events Manager (business.facebook.com).
  2. Select your active Pixel / Data Source.
  3. Click on the Settings tab and scroll down to the Conversions API section.
  4. Click Generate Access Token under Set up direct integration and copy the generated token string.

2. Linking Meta to Your MrCAPI Workspace

  1. In your MrCAPI dashboard, go to Settings > Integrations.
  2. Under Meta Conversions API (CAPI), paste your Pixel ID and System Access Token.
  3. Click Save & Test CAPI Signal. You will see a green verification badge when connected successfully.

3. Automatic Conversion Events

Once connected, MrCAPI handles the rest automatically:

  • When a lead moves to QUALIFIED → Sends a Meta Lead conversion event.
  • When an Appointment / Meeting is booked → Sends a Meta Schedule event.
  • When a lead status changes to WON → Sends a Meta Purchase event with the deal value.

💡 Pro Tip: Make sure your sales reps capture phone numbers in E.164 format (including country code like +1 or +91). High-quality contact data increases Meta's Event Match Quality (EMQ) score to 8.0+, giving you significantly cheaper ad costs!
